Traveling techies charge their batteries at this hotel "convenient to all of Silicon Valley", the Convention Center, "theaters and stores", while "roomy" suites, free WiFi, an outdoor pool, a pro-pet policy and area attractions such as Great America also make it a "family-friendly" destination; still, some are "dismayed" at the "small" standard rooms and one wing they say is like "a two-star motel", and others are vexed by the mess of ongoing renovations.

Shuttle service and driver.
Room was in old wing, grungy.

The room was on gas station side wing, very old, not very clean.

Public access to rooms, worn out rooms and beddings, staff was not warm, room service hours ends
at 10, no secure wireless access

Inconvenient location. Access to rooms is available to public - no security. Rooms have worn out bedding and are dated. Not enough outlets in the room and the outlets that are there are in need of being updating. No Wired internet access and wireless access is not secure. If there was secure wireless access, no attempt by check in staff was made to find out if I needed internet access. Room Service ends @ 10, despite the in-room dining guide stating that after 10 light snacks are available. ...read more

The Biltmore's location is smack dab in the middle of Silicon Valley and an easy drive to anywhere there.
I did not like the shower because of having to twist two knobs to control the water temperature.

The Biltmore is a centrally located, easy to find 3-star hotel in the heart of Silicon Valley. They do need to start thinking of room updates that would modernize the bathrooms and lighting throughout the units. I would recommend the hotel as a good value for business travelers. ...read more

Location was close to the freeway, but didn't have freeway noise.
The room was sub par. It was more a kind to a motel that had been upgraded.

I would not stay here again. This was not close to a 3 star experience. The rooms open to the parking lot. They were very small with minimal accouterments. Not in par with Marriott Residence Inn, Sunnyvale Sheraton or Milipitas Crowne which are 3 stars within the name or nearby zip code. First time, I have been disappointed with a Priceline pick. ...read more

Room service was prompt.
It was like a super 8 motel.

The main hotel is a tower, which may be nice. At the back of the tower, there is a motel like structure (exterior corridors, no elevators, exterior parking.) I stayed here. There was freeway noise, a view of the Valero gas station, and beer cans in the landscaping. Room has the smell of musty old motel. Because this structure was around the back of the main hotel, I felt somewhat vulnerable as a woman traveling alone, going from my car to the room. It was only one night. ...read more
